Home Renovation Tax Credit

15 percent credit may be claimed of eligible expenditures exceeding $1,000.00 but not more than $10,000.00 meaning that the maximum tax credit that can be received is $1,350.00.  Effective January 27, 2009 to February 1, 2010. Examples of Eligible Services:

  • Renovating a basement, kitchen or bathroom
  • A new furnace or water heater
